1. What music are you listening to when you want to be creative?
I often listen to Sound books, like crimis only sommetimes music. Love to get lost in time, listening to books. They musten’t be to exciting, just a background story. Wen I listen to music it can be jazz, Hildegaard Von Bingen, soundtracks from films like Amelie from Montmartre. I would like to have painted some of Hammerhøis works. They have incredible stilness and atmosphere. Patricia Urquiola is one of my favorite designers and Jaime Hayon. The colours, textures and shapes in their design are so elegant and yet very warm and kind.
2. Where comes your interior and design interest from?
I have always loved art and creating spaces around myself that mirror my inner world. And I had a great inspiration from my late mother who loved creating a warm home full of plants and art. As a child about 8 years I decorated my room with only old furniture and pictures. Later on me and my friends could spend hours redecorating our rooms with new colour combinations.
3. What design (furniture, art, architecture) you would wish that you had created?
I would like to have painted some of Hammerhøis works. They have incredible stilness and atmosphere. Patricia Urquiola is one of my favorite designers and Jaime Hayon. The colours, textures and shapes in their design are so elegant and yet very warm and kind. Oluaf Eilasson work are incredibly inspiring as well…
4. What is happening this weekend?
I am taking part of an event on Saturday where I am going to draw on Stenderstorv in Roskilde with lot’s of children, drawing with chalk in all colours of the rainbow. The space is 60 m long… Everyone are welcome. We are moving house very soon so my weekend will be very practical…But I must go for a walk and look at some Magnolia trees and Cherry trees.
5. Do you have any projects going on right now?
I have recently started painting bigger abstract paintings and have a fascination of the light and dark mysteries of the deep sea that I want to explore as much as possible. And probably exhibit in the autum…
